So we discussed this scan result with the developers of vpnify and this is their response. (we ran our own scan to confirm this)

In original vpnify untouched apks, it raises about 18 detections, 15 out of those 18 are for obfuscation.

Those 15 detections which are for obfuscation are because of pairip lib which of course obfuscate code because it's from google protection..

Now if you remove that lib from the app and scan it again, it'll show you the same number of detections but won't show where these detections are coming from.

Reason is it picks up the detections from past scan and not completely from the current application.

This is a strange algorithm of virustotal that shouldn't rely on past scans but this is how it is and it has its flaws clearly.
