CAREFULLY SELECTED STORIES
On the KathaKids App, we carefully select stories from Indian Mythology and Folklore. These stories are then adapted for content and language for modern-day children.

This includes stories of popular characters like Tenali Raman, Krishna and Ganesha. Stories from Panchatantra, Mahabharata and various other mythological and folk texts. There are stories of values such as bravery, kindness and honesty.

KathaKids is a great way to introduce your children to stories you read as a kid or heard from your grandma.

FUN ENGAGING FORMAT
All stories are full of colourful pictures and are performed by professional narrators. Children can listen to the stories read out to them, or they can read the stories on their own. The app is the perfect companion for bedtime stories!

At KathaKids we want to create a safe, Ad-Free environment for children. That’s why we charge a small fee to support our effort.

KathaKids Subscribers get Full-Access to all stories. You can refer the app to your friends. Every time a new friend downloads the app, you get free access for a few days!

Once the free period is over, you can continue to read four stories for free. We refresh the free stories regularly.

Subscribers also get access to premium Parental Controls, wherein parents can monitor their children’s reading activity.

You can also browse through our Collections where stories are grouped by genres such as Mythology, Folktales, Funny Stories, History & Legends, etc. You will also find Story Series such as Krishna & Kamsa, Fun Tales of Tenali Raman, and Panchatantra Tales in our Collections.

We have also created a ‘Favourite Stories’ Section. A ‘Heart Icon’ appears at the end of every story. If you like it, hit the icon, and the story appears in the Favourite Stories section.
