Snap Camera lets you take pictures and record video with a single click, no cluttered preview screen, just the two buttons you really need.

Snap Camera's interface is based on the camera included in Android 4.4 (kitkat) on the Nexus 5 but with many extra features.

If you want to test this camera before buying, please install the trial version..

The trial version has all the features of the paid app but will only start immediately in Airplane mode.

Snap Camera has a simple, powerful user interface featuring:

* Touch to focus

* Pinch to zoom

* Swipe to review

* Long press to adjust photo settings with the photo controller.

The photo controller includes settings for:

* Colour and Contrast (if supported by the hardware).

* Silent Shutter

* Burst Mode

* Self Timer

* Stable Shot

* Panorama mode

* Flash mode

* Whitebalance

* Exposure

* Grid lines

* Fast picture mode

* HDR

* Additional Settings

The additional settings menu gives you access to many extra settings.

* Picture and Video Size

* Scene mode

* Self Timer delay

* Burst Mode settings

* Time Lapse

* Still and Video Focus Modes

* JPEG Quality

* Effects

* ISO

* Anti-banding

* Scene Detection

* Video Bitrate, Format and Codec

* Audio Settings

The photo editor lets you:

* Add colour effects

* Add a border

* Crop, Rotate, Mirror

* Straighten

* Add image effects

* Histogram Modification

* Vignette

Additional Features

- You can see what effects will be applied and undo an effect at any time from the history menu

- Share an image with any other app such as Facebook or Google+ by clicking on the share icon

- Create panoramas by selecting the panorama icon (Android 4.0 and above)

- Fast picture mode instantly captures photos at the preview resolution.

- Capture still snapshots during video recording (if supported)

- Use the volume buttons to focus and take a picture or zoom

- Auto torch mode for low light video recording

- Use the advanced video settings to record video in resolutions not allowed by other cameras. For example, this gives you 720p video recording on the Nexus 7

- Stable shot mode only takes a photo when the camera is completely still

High Dynamic Range (HDR)

HDR is a feature that lets you take pictures of scenes with very dark and very light areas. The app takes two photos at different exposures and combines them to make one HDR photo. By default the app will save the original exposures and open an HDR editor but this behaviour can be changed from the settings menu.

See here for details of HDR:

Refunds:

Please contact us if you have any issues with Snap Camera, we will give you a refund and later notify you once we've fixed the problem.

Some features are only available on newer devices.

Camera apps are notoriously difficult to make compatible with all hardware.

Please install and test the trial version first before you buy the paid app.

Please visit our website for tips and more details about the settings and features.

There is a discussion forum here:

Please use this to report bugs, ask questions and suggest new features. Remember to say which device you have and which Android version it is running.

This app will install 2 icons in your launcher, one for the Gallery and one for the Camera. Some launchers also put the Gallery icon on your home screen.

THE APPLICATION FROM THIS THREAD IS CLEAN (the .APK) !

DOWNLOAD LINK IS FALSE POSITIVE

GOOGLE PLAY STORE IS NOT CLEAN 100%!

Thank You SNB for your hard work, a lot of people appreciate this forum!

1)-What do you mean by "riskware"?

2)-What "antivirus" or "security" software are you using?

Some of Android so named "antivirus" are SCAM and not a real antivirus engine.

Android CM security, 360 security, Du Speed Booster antivirus, sucks as an antivirus engine in this moment.

And a good example of SCAM software in Google Play Store:

http://thehackernews.com/2014/04/first- ... s-app.html

3)-You are referring to the .APK itself or to the Download Link?

If you are referring to the download link, it's a false positive, one of my antivirus filters blocked me from downloading the .APK as it said that the link is infected.

However, I disabled that specific antivirus filter, and downloaded the .APK isolated in a sandbox. Then I scanned it, the .APK IS CLEAN, so there is NO virus, spyware, ad-ware, malware, in it.

Here is another Analysis Scan Report of the APP:

http://apkscan.nviso.be/report/show/e21 ... a64d9cccf7

>>><<<

Virus Total scan results

None of the 52 scanners detected malicious behavior.

>>><<

HasSum / FileHashes for the .APK:

CRC32: 32684231
MD5: E21FB0BCEC9196611CD34EA64D9CCCF7
SHA-1: 0DF814D335E7EB4B00E6B6E32FDBD467FD4C4421
SHA-256: 10D9126962A966A764580DDB175054EF2A61E12A38A2DE11AB6AC3575C727003

And Please Take App's from Google Play Store, and Scan them with various antivirus engines.

I HAVE PERSONALLY FOUND A LOT OF "INFECTED" APPS IN THE OFFICIAL GOOGLE PLAY STORE! AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT FALSE POSITIVES!

For Example, an "RISKWARE" and "INFECTED" application in Google Play Store:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .Camera360

And it has 1,450,154 downloads, +725109 Recomandations on Google Plus!

I wonder why those people don't see that camera360 is a security / privacy hole.

Or, I don't.

4. Download, test and use the apps on your own personal risk. There is no "100%" guarantee that even an "official-not-patched-and-paid-app" will be 100% clean.

On my android devices I rely / put my base on eset / nod 32 Free edition.

With Android-Eset I have found a lot of "malicious" apps where other engines failed.

Clueful privacy advisor (from bitdefender) is also nice.

AegisLab (free) has some ads's but the new version is pretty agressive, sometimes is resulting in false-positives.

Avg (pro-paid) had a poor rate of detection in my scenarios.

Norton, CM, and sometimes Lookout, warned me about about apps that where clean, but they where modified/patched as they didn't had the same hash and signature like those from store.

For example, take Skype from playstore, it will be "clean".

Then use lucky patcher for disable internet connection, it can be reported as "riskware".

Altrough in this scenario the apk is clean but reported as a risk.

Or, take the official skype which is "clean" from playstore, open the apk on the computer, change the Skype Icons in the apk, (and sign the apk), move the apk to phone and it can be reported as "risk".

I hope that explanations helped.

Don't Forget that Play Store is able to "serve" / "give" different versions-sizes of apk's according to the devices.

For example I can download an app from 4 different devices (samsung ARM phone with android 2.3, motorola ARM phone android 4.3, an Yoga tablet android 4.4, and Pc/Laptop with android x86 4.4)

Even If do the download in the same time, and they will be different, as the hardware is different. But the .apk can be compatibile with others or not. This is another reason why the .APK of the same app, same version, differs and is not equal. (hash and size)

actually it was from lookout, avg, and a private app i have

and yes i know 360 is a pure hole like many others

but when it comes up RISKWARE, but the app from the play store does not,

someone messed with the apk itself then,

yes but untouched apk should not have any riskware notifications.

its UNTOUCHED RIPPED APK,

so when it comes up with error, then yes its a concern,

also lucky patcher is probably the issue, i still dont trust that app

prob whats causing half the hacks on android

For the REAL HDR photo the best results I got with the default build in camera, in the defaut rom, as my device "knows" to do hdr.

People tend to confuse HDR with TONE MAPPING, and it is not the same thing.

Best results (excepting the default stock camera), better than Snap Camera HDR (this app) I got with these ones:

A Better Camera + Abc Launcer ==>> If your device is newer and is compatibile

HDR Camera+ ==>> If your device is older and is not compatibile with a better camera.
