Just a slight modification or expansion to the above line...

The first thing to install is a "GOOD" file handler - eg Total Commander (or any one of the many others out there),, then if you have a microSD card plugged in, from there you can make a folder on it (with the file handler) and you can copy all your *.apk installers into it. Your default, or better program installers will always look for installer *.apk's and will always find them if they are on the SD card each time it starts up. This way you keep the devices memory free for other things and you are using the SD card for storage, which is basically what it's there for...

You can also make more folders on the SD card and store music, videos, pics and whatever else you want in them. Doing it this way, you keep things organized and the various types of files all together...

Some of the files downloaded are coming up as .exe even though they have apk in the file name, any idea how to correct this, tried renaming file but makes no difference.
