Common Questions/Answers for Poweramp v2.x:
Q. My songs are missing from folders/library.
A. Please ensure you have all your folders with music actually checked in Poweramp Settings => Folders and Library => Music Folders.
Your original Android Library is not changed, nor any files deleted.
Poweramp library is a separate, completely independent library. When you installed Poweramp 2.0, it just got filled with the files scanned from your sd card/other flash memory, as specified in Music Folders.
Q. Volume too low. Volume changes weirdly. Other volume issues.
A. Try to disable Direct Volume Control in Poweramp Settings => Audio => Advanced Tweaks.
Poweramp 2.x uses Direct Volume Control by default on 2.3+ mid-to-high end devices. On stock ROMs this produces much better audio output. But many custom/buggy ROMs, while supporting DVC, can fail with it.

Installation instruction:
-Install "Poweramp Apk" .
-Run the Poweramp Music Player and let it scans all your audio files then exit.
-Install/Run Lucky Patcher , find the app , long press on it and select custom patch.
-In the list of custom patches select "patch_ren.by.ramzezzz_com.maxmpz.audioplayer" .
-Wait until the patching process done and launch the app.
-Enjoy the full version!

WHAT'S NEW

An interesting tip for you guys: Unlink Poweramp from Google Play store!
(I use Titanium: Long hold in App name: "Detatch from Market")
or 3C Toolbox

it will not auto-update anymore (and the Patch will stay forever)

The method that "theone11120" has mentioned is better. I used that method before, although my new phone doesn't have root access yet.

I wanted to use Poweramp, but I just can use it for 15 days.

@werner

U mean using titanium backup?

Yeah!

Inside Titanium Backup:

1. "Long-press" Poweramp in the App List ("Backup/Restore" Tab)

2. "Detach from Market"

but it won't stay forever though...

I don't know what is the cause... but eventually (like a Week later, or a couple of Reboots later) it gets attached to Play Store again!

(you can see it's attached again because it appears in "Updates"... then I have to Apply the Patch again (in Lucky Patcher) and Detach again!

Werner Loureiro,

I hope the method worked..Have a nice day ahead..

Man.... i've tried like 25 times...

Uninstalled, rebooted, downloaded from play store

tried with apk installed

uninstalled: (exported APK, tried to rebuild it (patch) targeting the APK file)

man.... EVERYTHING!

My "Lucky Patcher" (latest: v5.6.8) simply can't create Modified Apk ("Build modified apk")

it simply won't build...

When I simply Apply Custom Patch, the patches are applied, and it Works... (both patch_del.by.ramzezzz & patch_ren.by.ramzezzz)

But when I try to Build Modified APK, it asks which patch I want, and I hit "apply" and it stays: Applying..... forever....

then I give up, close Lucky Patcher, and I go to /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.android.vending.billing.inAppBillingService.LUCK/files/LuckyPatcher/Modified/ and the APK appears there, but then I compare it to original, and it's binary the same file!

I think it's really buggy here... gonna continue using my method (which, sadly, I have to re-apply the patch some time later...)

but it stays many days working! so it's all good!

please, share the Modified APK with us ([email protected]) thanks!

ksadarsh, I didn't understand the items 3 and 6.

I need to export the apk (using the option backup?)

Then I have to uninstall the apk.

When I open Lucky Patcher there is no Poweramp in there.

Can you help me, please?

dss2006,

1) download from Play

2) export the apk using appmonster or appwererabbit ( in appwererabbit you have the option to share apk in the options provided, select your file browser and save at any desired place)

3) now uninstall the play store installed apk

4) open lucky patcher, you have the option "rebuild & install" at your bottom right of the screen. select it.

5) lucky patcher will ask to select the apk. navigate to the shared apk using the file browser. select it.

6) select the appropriate patch and it will create modified apk.

let me know if you are facing any confusions.. :)

Thank you for your reply.

I followed all steps, but I'm facing the same error as Werner Loureiro. When I chose the patch to apply, it tries to apply the patch but never finish.

I don't know if there's something to do with Android Version (mine is 5.0.2).

I'll try again later.

Yes theone11120. I use Lucky Patcher without root access, but instead of patching the app we need to create another file patched and then uninstall the app installed from Play Store and install the patched one.
